Accepted Answer

Contact support@flysounds.com immediately if your address is wrong. Changes cannot be guaranteed after dispatch. If a carrier permits rerouting, you are responsible for its handling fees and delivery issues caused by incorrect address details.

Question 11

Tracking says delivered, but I have not received my package. What should I do?

Will I need to sign for delivery?

Accepted Answer

Some orders may require a signature upon delivery, depending on Flysound's arrangements or the carrier's requirements.

Question 16

How long is the warranty?

Question 17

What information should I provide when contacting support?

Accepted Answer

Provide your order number, proof of purchase, issue description, the affected device, and relevant photos or video. For technical issues, also include your phone and app details, charging or LED behavior, and steps already tried.

How do I request warranty service or a replacement?

Accepted Answer

Contact support@flysounds.com or +1 (833) 658-9090 with your order ID, proof of purchase, and photos or video of the issue. Evaluation takes 5–10 business days; verified claims receive an RMA. Claims close after more than 30 consecutive days without a response following RMA issuance.

Question 20

What is excluded from the limited warranty?

Accepted Answer

Exclusions include misuse, drops, liquid ingress, improper power supplies, unauthorized repairs or modifications, altered serial numbers, environmental damage, normal wear, physical damage, loss or theft, and purchases from unauthorized or second-hand sellers.

Accepted Answer

No. Loss and theft are excluded from the standard limited warranty.

Question 22

How long is a replacement device covered by warranty?

Accepted Answer

The replacement keeps the remaining original warranty. If fewer than 30 days remain, coverage extends to 30 days from the replacement shipment date.

Question 23

Do purchases from unauthorized sellers qualify for warranty service?

Accepted Answer

No. Warranty and return claims require an authorized purchase channel, an order number, and a valid receipt. Contact support@flysounds.com to verify a seller.

Question 24

Who pays shipping for warranty service?

Accepted Answer

The 50-day trial is available once per hearing-aid model per customer. Repeated returns of the same model for additional trials are not permitted.

Question 26

What’s the return policy?

Accepted Answer

Eligible purchases from flysounds.com may be returned within 50 days of delivery, subject to return conditions and RMA approval. Each customer may trial each hearing-aid model once. For purchases on Amazon or another marketplace, confirm the applicable return terms with that seller or platform.

Question 28

What condition must a return be in, and what must I send back?

Return the product clean, undamaged, and complete with original packaging, accessories, and documentation. Excessive wear, cosmetic damage, or misuse may make it ineligible. Bulk or corporate purchases of 10 or more units are excluded unless otherwise specified.

Ship the product back within 7 business days of RMA approval, following the return instructions provided by support.

Customers pay return-shipping costs for non-defective items returned for personal reasons. Flysound does not reimburse those costs.

No. Accessories bought separately, such as ear tips or charging cases, are non-returnable under the return policy.

Question 35

How are returns for promotional bundles handled?

Accepted Answer

Question 36

Is this a hearing aid or only a personal sound amplifier?

Accepted Answer

It is an OTC hearing aid intended for adults with perceived mild to moderate hearing difficulty, rather than a recreational personal sound amplification product.

Question 37

Is it suitable for a first-time hearing aid user?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is designed as a user-adjustable OTC device. Start at a low comfortable volume, use it in quiet settings first, and increase daily wear time gradually.

Question 38

Can I use only one hearing aid?

Accepted Answer

You may use one side if only one ear needs support or while troubleshooting, but many people with hearing difficulty in both ears benefit from using both devices. A hearing professional can advise you if the difference between ears is significant.

Question 39

Is it appropriate as a gift for a parent or spouse?

Accepted Answer

It can be purchased as a gift for an adult, but the user should understand that it is intended for perceived mild to moderate hearing difficulty and should participate in fitting, volume adjustment, and the adaptation process.

Question 40

Can it be used at home and outdoors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is for everyday listening at home, outdoors, and during regular daily activities. Choose a suitable scene setting and keep the volume comfortable.

Question 41

What does the AI noise reduction do?

Accepted Answer

It processes incoming sound to help reduce distracting background noise and support clearer speech in everyday environments.

Question 42

Will it completely eliminate background noise?

Accepted Answer

No. Noise reduction can make some environments more comfortable, but it cannot isolate one voice perfectly or eliminate all background sounds.

Question 43

What is feedback control?

Accepted Answer

Feedback control is designed to reduce whistling or howling that can occur when amplified sound leaks back into the microphone.

Question 44

Can it help me follow one-on-one conversations?

Accepted Answer

It is designed to support clearer everyday conversations. Begin in a quiet room, face the speaker, and adjust volume and tone gradually.

Question 45

Can it help when watching TV?

Accepted Answer

It can amplify room sound for TV listening, and compatible Bluetooth can provide another way to receive audio. Results depend on distance, room acoustics, and connection method.

Question 46

Can it help with phone conversations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It supports everyday hearing assistance, and Bluetooth call and audio functions for compatible Android and iOS devices. Phone compatibility and call routing should be confirmed during setup.

Question 47

Will it help in restaurants?

Accepted Answer

It improves speech access. Please use the outdoor scene if available, sit with your back to the main noise source, and keep the speaker in front of you.

Question 48

Can it help me follow several people speaking?

Accepted Answer

It could help. Sit where you can see faces, ask people to speak one at a time, and choose the scene that best reduces surrounding noise.

Question 49

How does it perform outdoors?

Accepted Answer

The product is intended for outdoor use. Select the outdoor/wind scene if available, keep microphones unobstructed, and adjust volume conservatively.

Question 50

Does it restore normal hearing?

Accepted Answer

No hearing aid can restore normal hearing. It is intended to improve access to everyday sounds and speech, and results vary by hearing profile, environment, fit, and settings.

Question 51

Can hearing aids restore normal hearing?

Accepted Answer

No. They help you hear better but don’t cure hearing loss.

Question 52

Who is this product designed for?

Accepted Answer

It is designed for adults aged 18 or older who notice mild to moderate difficulty following conversations, hearing the TV, understanding speech in groups, or hearing on the phone.

Question 53

Can someone under 18 use this OTC hearing aid?

Accepted Answer

No. OTC hearing aids are intended for adults aged 18 or older. A person under 18 should receive a medical evaluation and use a prescription hearing aid when appropriate.

Question 54

Is it suitable for severe or profound hearing loss?

Accepted Answer

It is marketed for perceived mild to moderate hearing difficulty. People who cannot hear speech in a quiet room or cannot hear loud sounds well should consult a hearing professional rather than relying on an OTC device alone.

Question 55

How can I tell whether my hearing difficulty may be mild to moderate?

Accepted Answer

Common signs include difficulty hearing speech in noise or groups, trouble hearing on the phone, listening fatigue, or needing the TV louder than other people prefer. These signs do not replace a professional diagnosis.

Question 56

Do I need a hearing test before using it?

Accepted Answer

A hearing test is not required to purchase an OTC hearing aid, but a professional hearing evaluation can help identify the type and degree of hearing loss and whether this product is suitable.

Question 57

Can it replace an audiologist or ENT evaluation?

Accepted Answer

It does not replace medical or audiological care. Seek professional help if your hearing loss is sudden, rapidly worsening, very different between ears, painful, associated with dizziness, or not adequately helped by the device.

Question 58

When should I see a doctor before using an OTC hearing aid?

Accepted Answer

Seek medical care for ear pain, drainage or blood, visible ear deformity, suspected blockage, severe dizziness or vertigo, sudden or fluctuating hearing change, or markedly worse hearing in one ear.

Question 59

What if I have ringing in only one ear?

Accepted Answer

One-sided ringing or buzzing together with unequal hearing can be a warning sign. Consult a doctor or hearing professional before relying on an OTC hearing aid.

Question 60

What if my hearing suddenly gets worse?

Accepted Answer

Sudden or rapidly worsening hearing loss requires prompt medical evaluation. Do not delay care while trying different hearing-aid settings.

Question 61

Can I use it if I have ear pain or drainage?

Accepted Answer

Stop and seek medical advice. Ear pain, pus, blood, or fluid drainage may indicate a condition that needs treatment.

Question 62

Should I stop using it if it causes pain?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Remove the device and check the fit and volume. Persistent pain or discomfort should be evaluated by a healthcare professional.

Question 63

Can I turn the volume up as high as possible for better clarity?

Accepted Answer

No. More volume does not always improve speech understanding and can become uncomfortable. Use the lowest level that provides useful clarity.

Question 64

Can I sleep while wearing it?

Accepted Answer

It is better to remove the devices before sleeping. This prevents pressure discomfort, accidental damage, and unnecessary battery use.
